Lovely atmosphere staff are extremely friendly the food and food presentation was impeccable all of my family members love it here and there was a very hospitable vibe 10/10 would recommend ( the waiter Ezra was very kind and ensured that our experience went well throughout our meal)Posted on alina mendoza lopezTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to this time because I genuinely don’t understand the number of positive reviews this place has. It is EXTREMELY overpriced. The food was very average, and there was nothing Caribbean or African about it. We waited almost 30 minutes for our food, which only added to the disappointment. For context, I was recently looking at the price of a meat dish at Osteria Angelina (a top-rated restaurant) and it costs £19. Here, I paid £17 for two pieces of toast with a small amount of plantain and ackee on top. When I think about that price, I honestly regret ever coming here. The only positive was the waiter, who was very nice. Other than that, I wouldn’t recommend it. Don’t waste your money here yall.Posted on MHaraBallTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great place for Brunch. Friendly service, dog-friendly (offered us a water bowl!) and food was excellent. Particularly enjoyed the omelette w/ lamb meatballs. Coffee great too. My partner’s poached eggs were perfectly done. 5*Posted on simone johnsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The food was absolutely amazing! Will definitely recommend the lamb nuggets!! The sirloin steak was cooked to perfection, no need to send it back…. Oh the atmosphere! The music you play indoors but never hear outside! The ambiance and food second to none! A hidden Gem!Posted on Ronald MugambwaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Absolutely loved my meal here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every bite was satisfying, and the presentation was beautiful too. The service made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others.Posted on Lawrence SteynTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is not the first time I have been to Fika as a local. I enjoy their coffee and pop in regularly. It gives me no pleasure to give this review but i have to say something... popping in this morning for a brunch with my partner. The guys working there seemed nice enough, however the service was way below standard. No urgency just taking their time with the orders. We were the only ones in the shop and thus the staff stated were carrying on about getting drunk and their nights out which at first you dont mind until it overtakes the already round music where we could barely hold conversation. We ordered the seafood soup & what is suppose to be a upmarket eggs Benedict with salmon. The soup was a small to medium size bowl at best with a single mussel for £13 Then the eggs Benedict was mediocre with a sludgey thick hollenase sauce not appealing at all and the eggs hard and overcooked. Priced at £17 My overall experience has seen the decline of service and attention to detail over time with the price just not matching the food being served. The whole experience including 2 x coffee bringing the bill to £45 is just silly. Just made me feel like not ever comming back.Posted on T BrownTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The ambience was perfect for celebrating our anniversary. The intimate setting, with RnB classics playing in the background along with a good drink selection added to the evening. The staff were very attentive and the food was delicious! I will definitely be back and would highly recommend others trying this spot.Posted on Joseph FitchettTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
